Torch-on Underlay 8m Roll SBS Modified Bitumen - Black Sand Finish

PREMIUM QUALITY & STRENGTH – Our Premium Torch-On Sanded Underlay is made from a 100g glass-based SBS-modified bitumen torch-on membrane, offering outstanding durability and flexibility. With tensile strengths of 675 N/50mm longitudinally and 460 N/50mm transversely, it is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring reliable waterproofing and tear resistance.

WEATHER RESISTANT – This underlay excels in extreme conditions, handling both hot and cold temperatures without cracking. It provides excellent waterproofing, tear resistance, and remains flexible down to -5°C, making it suitable for various climates.

EASY INSTALLATION – Installation is straightforward. Simply cut the underlay to the desired length, then use a torch to heat and adhere it to the roof. For best results, pair it with our Mineral Capsheet or felt shingles.

MULTI-PURPOSE USAGE – Perfect as an underlay or intermediate layer in torch-applied built-up roofing systems, this underlay offers reliable protection and can extend the roof's lifespan by up to 10 years.

STORAGE & HANDLING – Store the underlay upright on a dry surface, keeping it above 10°C for 24 hours before installation. Avoid direct sunlight during storage to maintain its quality, and do not use it in temperatures below 5°C.

COMPATIBILITY – Compatible with all standard roofing materials and finishes. It is safe under normal conditions but should not come into contact with hydrocarbon solvent-based products like naphtha, paraffin, and creosote.
